The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is a 501(c) 3 community based non-profit. Their mission and vision support their work to: build strong families, meet the needs of struggling parents to increase self -sufficiency, promote youth development through positive peer and adult relationships and develop employment skills for individuals to achieve their career goals. They bring together resources and programming in a Family Resource Center and Job Center to create a “one-stop shop” experience which encourages and supports families as they identify their own needs and reach their own goals. They recognize that each family has strengths and encourage the family to build on these to solve their own challenges.
They have two primary focuses. One is to prevent child abuse through parent education and support activities, free family events, and resources. The other is to assist families and youth in achieving self-sufficiency through job search assistance, providing scholarships for training, professional skill building workshops, youth leadership and career exploration.
We invite you to learn more about their organization and the work they do to meet the needs of our community. On their website, you will find an overview of their community work and examples of the lives they touch every day.
